Due Date Club December 2005:My birth story

Name: Mihika Warrier Dear All,

Delivered baby at 35week 3 days.

My water bag broke on 16th November at 2.30am. I immediately rushed to the hospital with my mother & father. My doc came at 9 in the morning and on examination found the same and the cervix was closed. I was kept in labour room and was told by doc that he would perform a c-section/inducing labour. Meanwhile i had called my hubby in singapore and he booked a flight the same evening.

I was about to be taken to the OT and my hubby arrived at the nick of time.

In the OT and in aneasthesia i could see my baby being delivered. I gave him a good kiss and then he was taken to the NICU where he was kept for 4 days under observation.

We have named him MANAS. We are back home now and so is writing to share my experience.
