Hi All,
I am new to this board. I had my baby in November 02 and my parents were unable to come for that. Now, I thought I will go in Feb but I have to wait because of GC issues. I am terribly homesick and feel very depressed. My parents are trying but they cannot come just like as I have a younger sister there. Has anybody been in the same boat as me? I really need someone to talk to. I don't know how long I will go on like this. I feel torn between parents and hubby here. Sometimes I just want to give all this up and go back and settle in India. Pls. reply......!! Sugi replied. Hi SS, I too was on the same boat when I had my baby. As mine was the first grandbaby in both the family, both of our parents were really excited about it. But unfortunately both the parents were not able to come here for the delivery. (rejected visa). I missed my mom so...o much, you know. I cried and then became ok from my hubby's consolings. Finally mom came when the baby was 5 months and I felt that I am the happiest person in the world. So, after crossing few months/years from now if you look back these things, those things which are looking big now will definitely look smaller. So, don't worry. Enjoy the time with your new baby. I delivered baby in Dec.Both our parents were not able to come.I would be going to india only at the end of the year.I can go anytime but my hubby won't be able to join me since he has used up all his vacation.It is unfair on father if we go to india for a long time and more impt baby too needs father.This is the time for bonding.Its so much fun seeing the little one growing and achieving milestones. I am really sorry about your loss. Thank you for telling me and making me realize that I have to see the good things. Have you consulted any fertility clinics or something? If nothing else, try an ovulation test, it helps (I know!!). Good Luck to you and hope you get a beautiful baby soon!! God Bless You.....

you want to listen my story??..I have been trying for baby for 6 years. not getting pregnant without any reason.since I am the only child for the whole family, my parents were eagerly waiting for my pregnancy news.this year my mom passed away, she just want to hear the news that I am pregnant, till her last breath. I feel like my all dreams washed away. but still I have to live..so don't get too much upset. I know nobody can love you, like your mom, but still god gave you healthly baby. & you can wait for a while, & enjoy back at your home with your parents.think all good things god gave you, there are people who doesn't have support of parents, in any difficulty.best of luck...
