Hi Sonu,
We are in the same boat, though the pain doesnt hit me often i know how terrible it is but i was relieved of it when my husband helped me with a good massage. Afterall they need to take lil pain too along with us, isnt it? :)
well try with some body lotion this would make you feel pampered and also skin gets smoother not to forget that basic one that it gets you out of the pain. My Doctor suggested to take those 30-45 mins leisure walk during evenings or early mornings. Seems during pregnancy our bosy to take the pressure and weight starts to get stiff sometimes. walk to certainly help in relaxing those tensed nerves and muscles and end of the day before closing the eyes a massage certainly helps to get that peaceful sleep. It works for me, try if it does for you too.
And the tip my aunt suggested me yesterday was to place a pillow between the legs and to sleep only on sideways.
Lets try this too if it makes us feel better.

HI Sonu,
This is called, Sciatica Nerve Pain During Pregnancy. The sciatic nerve is a long nerve that runs from the lower back to the back of the legs and feet. Typically this nerve allows feeling in the muscles of the legs and feet

Typically the symptoms of sciatica in pregnancy include the following:

1. Pins and needles in the lower back or leg, possibly the affected foot.
2. Shooting or burning in the leg, buttock or lower back.
3. Pain in the lower back or back of the pelvis that may extend into the foot.
4. Numbness in the leg or feet.

Some women find massage therapy helpful for relieving inflammation and symptoms associated with sciatica. A massage can certainly help reduce muscle tension.

I am in my sixth month now. I am also suffering the same pain from my hip to toe. As mentioned, this pain comes only in the night, which disturbs the sleep as well. I used to sit for few min and then sleep again. Doctor advised me to take magenisium drink, which nevertheless helped me.

I think we have to live with it till delivery.

All the best and consult your doctor about this

HI Sunitha,

Finally I got somebody who had felt the pain which I have been feeling these days. Thanks yaar..This info is definitly a big help..

I talked to my doctor as well. He told me that if this pain remains for 3-4 days like this then he will going to conduct my Doppler study..its basically to check the blockage or clot in the nerve..I pray it won´ t happen..lets see..

I will keep you updated..

Hi Sonia,

Leg pain means that you are getting stressed out. Before going to bed, lie on a flat surface (floor is a good one), keep your legs up for ten mins. You can take the support of the wall or bed for this purpose. Repeat this everyday and you´ ll notice that leg pain just vanishes in a few days...

Hope it works for you.

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
