hi all:
hope everyone is doing great and counting days.... i am having anxiety pangs at times... my due date is 10th dec. Doc had earlier suggested that i may deliver by 38th week but it's already 38th week and no signs till now....
Shobha Raji and meghna how are u? any signs? I guess u two have same edd?

Hi all,
Yea my due date is close to yours its 14th December. I went for my weekly checkup today & the doc did an internal exam & said the baby is head down & it very low. She said many times that the baby is very low..But she said i am 70% effaced & less than 1 cm dialated. Also the baby is still veryy active & moves a lot.
But i have to confess i am having vierd feelings nowdays.. SOmetime i feel very nice sometimes i have doubts like will i be a good mom/will i be able to tak care of my daughter properly/will my delivery be fine.
Most of all since i am first time mom i am not aware how labor pains/contractions feel. I do feel tightening in the stomach, i have difficult walking as baby is low/have discomfort sleeping.. I am just counting days now..just 21 more days to go for due date. Then other times i feel i shoudl enjoy all the time i have before the baby arrives & i get busy.
I am sure you all will be feeling similar.. Dunno why just felt like sharing my thoughts. Its nice we have this group. I have written a long msg. You all keep mailing. Hope all are doing great. Waiting to hear more good news.

yes, my edd is 10th dec as well ... i keep having pain but it is false pain and stops after a while. no other symptoms really.

my doc says the same thing as yours ... i could deliver any time .. so just got to wait and watch , i guess ...

i completely understand what you're feeling ... it is nerve wracking and gets really restless at times ... but just got to grin and bear it,i suppose !

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine.
