I have delivered a baby girls two days back. The delivery was normal and the baby has healthy weight. I would like to know when should i start massaging her ans which time is the best for massage? Is there any case when i shouldn' t massage her? Please help me as I stay alone and there is no one to guide me.

Congrats Nayantara, So now you are a mother of a healthy baby. You can start massaging your baby as early as 4-5 days after the birth. you shouldn’t massage your baby’s abdomen until the belly button is totally healed. Massaging your baby’s feet and hands may be the best place to start.Either before or after bath time can be a good time for massage. massaging in the evening helps the baby to unwind and thus help her to sleep better.Premature babies can benefit greatly from being gently massaged. If your baby suffers from a serious condition that requires specialist care, then you should not massage.

Washing baby clothes with dettol
Hello, We are washing baby clothes with dettol. When washing, the last thing we do is to Rinse the clothes in water(few drops of Dettol added). We don't rinse it with fresh wataer, after rinsing with dettol water.
