hi, how are you.
sheeja, you too asked for them a couple days ago, but i was still to try them, so didnt write.

the soup i mentioned in the saral kapoor message.try that,,,ur lil one will love it.
1.VEGIE ROLLS-- mash all boiled vegies (potatoes, carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, spinach leaves, peas, dudhi ( long gaurd ), and put some corainder leaves, sprinkle some aestefodia, 2 drops of lemon ( to avoid gas and acts as preservative ), 1 curryleaf..crush all the corainder, curry leave and then add.
and then roll them to finger size rolls. shred carrots and boil them, when done, roll the rolls onto the shreded carrots and press gently so that it combines with roles nicely, and also stays abit outside..my nirja loves to pull those shreds and eat that :) its fun for lil ones.
try this, will njoy it.
also, make some fruit medley,,pressure cook, all the fruits ( its ok if they arent that ripe, as you are boiling them ) with some cardamom ( 1 is fine )...
Other you can try is fruit pulav - apples, pears, peaches, couple berries,or watever fruits are available.avoid citrus foods, and put some rice,,,add some cinnamon, some cardamom, and very lil salt ! and pressure cook them,,good to go. if the fruits are too ripe, dont pressure cook them, add them to cooked rice.
blend them or leave them in pieces,,too good in taste..
add half banana and give to lil one !
also, try apricots ( dried are better, boil them or pressure cook them for 4 whistles ), with apples, rice and bananas !! great in fibre and great when baby feel consitpated....
i know that you might mind putting salt, cinnamon, cardamom and such things, but in india, we all give that in kheer and dal paani and all that, and babies eat them nicely. also, they are good for health specially in early ages of life.

Njoy,,these are so far tried ones.and are fit for babies for 8 months and above.

take care
Hetal

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
