Name: pooja

hi all: thanks for ur replies.
some more queries
do i take the bp medicine daily??? I am kind of
aversive in taking any medicine at this stage? archie can u let me know? is it safe?

Nothing is being said about my change in due date. Though the gynac i was showing in delhi said i have mature placenta to the time U/S was done i.e 32nd week. but the local doc has said nothing. So i assume it still is 10th dec.

ARCHIE at 32 weeks the doc had also calculated the wt of baby to about 1.8 kgs which she said was on lower side of normal range. can u pls tell how much does the baby gain in the last month? can this become normal by the time of delivery?

Shobha all the very best and do let us know when u go in labour.
meghna bed rest was boring indeed .... am thankful that can move around now.

thanks, pooja 37 wks

pooja,
baby weight won't be a concern, I think I already had said it when you posted ultrasound. Your baby is likely be around 6 pounds at the time of birth.
Baby puts about 1/2 a pound (228 gms) per week from week 34.

you must take bp medicine to avoid any trouble otherwise your high bp would direct you to hospital and most likely to C-section. There are patients who have to take BP and blood thining medicine all through pregnancy and are safe.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
