I really need your valuable advise. My 11 month old son has been suffering from a cold for 2 weeks now. First he had a very bad congestion which subsided with medicine and now hes stuckw ith a very runny and a completely blocked nose. Hes notbeen able to sleep for 2 nights now.

I have tried putting eucalyptus oil on his bedding, tried vicks on his chest, haldi in his milk at night, but nothing is givin adequate relief.

So please help me help my son.

Thanks in advance to all. Hetal replied. try pure basil oil a little on his chest, n beddng and offer him basil leaves water diluted to water before sleep.
before sleep, clear his nasal passages as much as pssble with suction pump,saline drops and such,,it will help.ask your dr about nose patch or vapor plug that might be right for your baby age..vicks n pediacare is availble in US.
if u are in US, get the breathe easier combinatn of oil thats availble in section where spa,arotherapy oils are used...
give lots of liquids, lots of juices, fruits n vit c nd water based fruits/oranges, watermelon,papaya,,,
offer warm water 1-2oz every 1-2hours,will help.
these will help in recvrng n congestn.
having a humidifier or a vapourizr is a big plus whn u have cold,viral,congestns and allergic childrn at home.
