Hi

In my 17th week of pregnancy the my thyroid was a little high. My doctor told me not to worry as this is normal in pregnancy and i needn't take any medicines for the same.

I never had any sort of problem with my thyroid earlier.

If anyone has any idea abut this, i wuld like to know.

thanks

Hi Mahima

i also have a thyroid problem which has been recently discovered and i am 34 weeks pregnant.Doctor has started with the medication and had asked me to return for the checkup one month after the birth of the baby. If u are already on medication then i guess you should trust your OB and if u r in doubt then get yourself a blood test to check if TSH is controlled through medication

dear Mahima,
Are you on Synthroid? What dose you are taking?
How long you have been taking this drug?
Usually it's not a problem if you are on such drug and no need to change dose unless your blood analysis indicated some troubles.
besides you are in 21st week.
I will appreciate your answers to my questions to better address your query.
