Hi everyone...sorry have been missing in action....Was trying to take a holiday while I can. I know post Feb life will be a different place...
Incidentally am in my 20th week now but still haven' t felt the slightest movement. I had my ultrasound 2 days ago and the baby seems to be moving around but I simply can' t feel a thing...Am not worried sick but concerned. Do you think its possible that I may not feel the kicks at all !!! I see my doctor in a week' s time and will bring it up with her but till send me some peace of mind my friends... Dreamymommy replied. Thanks guys...I do feel reassured. Am seeing my doc on 4th. Got my fingers crossed. Will keep you all informed.

I was thinking about you for a while. Do not worry, you' ll soon start feeling the movements of your baby. As Ck said it depends on individual and the thickness of your muscles etc.
My doc asked if I was feeling lot of baby movements, but I was hardly feeling anything. So i was scared too. But soon the regular movements have been felt. So do not worry you' ll probably feel the movements soon. As long as you have seen the mevements in scan & your doc says everything is fine, dont worry.

Perky ck replied. I read somewhere that if the mom' s uterus/stomach muscles are thick, they will feel movements later only. For those who are thin and skinny they can feel it earlier itseems. Donno how far this is true. It came to my mind when I read your post. I hope before you go to the doctor your baby will say hi to you with the movements. If the baby was fine in the u/s you don' t need to worry.

Please don' t worry. I didn' t feel my baby move until 22-23 weeks during my first pregnancy. I am damn sure your baby must be moving inside your womb, which you may be able to detect especially if you r a first time mom. Now with my second pregnancy, I was able to feel my baby move few weeks earlier than my first one. Take care. You ' ll feel your movements very soon.
