Due Date Club February 2008:abt infant formula milk

Which infant formula milk is best(enfamil,similac,organic similac) ?Nowadays lot of formulas r available.Now i am staying in US.I am planning to go to india after delivery within 4 months.Which formula milk is available in india ? Which one got highest DHA percentage ? Can anybody give suggestions ?

Formula

Are you going back to India for good? If you are going for a visit even if it is for 6 months, try to get the same formula the baby is used to in US from somebody who is visiting or by mail.

One of my colleagues baby developed skin problems after switching from US formula to Indian formula during the India visit. They went through lot of troubles in India not knowing what the problem was and kept giving the same Indian formula to the baby. Also if the formula creates trouble here, docs give special formulas that are readily available here which is not the case in India. I just wanted to let you know these since it is so much pain to see the baby going through troubles and if you are not able to help the baby.

BTW, most babies here are given similac/enfamil. My first one took regular Similac.
