I started with my 19th week yesterday.

I know that now a big scan is due. My doctors have suggested that I should do it around 20th week.

My hubby darling is away from me and wants to be present for this (though the radiologist promised him to cut a CD of the scan).

Now the confusion arises in my mind with his wish and Doctor' s dates. When this scan should be done best \" in\" the 20th week or even after the 20th week is ok?

Any experienced Moms know about this?

And by the way, someone suggestion to refer to \" whattoexpect\" was really useful!

I will get the appointment at the end of 20th week. Some cheeky try.. huh?

Hubby will miss the actual scan but he can always catch it on CD.

Congratulations on your pregnancy welcome aboard.
I completely understand your feelings as I went through the same phase. generally the big scan is done between 18-20 weeks. I also had some constraint foor which I wanted to schedule my scan after 20 weeks. But the hospital denied giving any appointments after 20 weeks. They said they do the scan before 20 weeks completed. It may or may not be the good in your hospital.
So pls check with your OB & the hospital where scan is scheduled.
