Vidhi,

Am in my 17th week too...Have been getting severe backache and tummy pain from around the 14th week...I was worried too and saw my doctor...Here in US they say take Tylenol...It is safe, but I don' t wanna take any medicine during pregnancy unless it is really necessary...Didn' t take it but just kept a heating pad on my back and relaxed on my side...Either side would do...Make sure you put your legs up for some time whenever you stand for long...Even when you sit, put your legs on an ottoman or bench if you have one...Sometimes when you strain your legs a lot by standing, your back could get strained too...Don' t cross your legs(one on top of the other) while you sit on a chair...That' s bad again...A warm shower would also help, but not a hot one...You don' t wanna raise your body temperature...
Hope this helps, don' t worry ok...My doctor tells me that too much of stress or tension can also create backache...

By the way, what is your due date? Mine is 22th August...

Hi...

i am now in y 15th week and last whole week i suffered from backpain. It was too bad that i literally cried out i used Hotpack thrice a day which really relaxed me and my pain subsided completely now. Try the hotpack first and if it dint work out, then take tylenol.
