i feel odd to ask this - could some body guide me on oral contraceptives availavle - it uses and after effects

contaceptives suit few people and does not suit for many.
since it works on your harmones so you may feel a lot of things like nausea, dizziness, hunger and you may put on weight too. however it happens to some people.
you may try once and then see. it is the best you consult your doctor, who will be telling you the same thing.
it may also delay your pregnancy when you plan to have it.
so consult a good doctor before you start this

I think you should speak to a Ob or GYN. They can best guide you on a contraceptive that is good for you and the pros and cons. You should only take what your docotor prescribes for you.

Why don't you consider condons for your partner rather then taking a pill. I don't know how old you are but if you have intentions on having children, oral contraceptives sometimes (not always and depending on the persons body chemistry)make it harder or impossible to conceive. My cousin was on oral contraceptives for a few years, when she decided to have children she stopped the contraceptives...it has been 10 years and she still has not conceived.

Make your decision carefully and wisely. If you are not married, talk to your doctor about sex as well.
