Health Issues:fell down

My son is 10 months old and I feel very guilty to let u know that he fell down on a hard wood floor while trying to walk holding the crib. His head (on the back side) got hit. He took food an half hour before this incident. Because of the pain, he cried a lot and also thrown out some of the food. I checked his head and do not see any bump or so..

One month back, he fell down from the bed (in his sleep). So, he had his cbc(complete blood checkup) done a few weeks back and every thing was ok.

I haven't informed the latest event to my doctor as I'm afraid that they send him again for cbc.

Please send your valuable advises/suggestions for what I should do next to comfort my precious gift.

Doctor is the best

Hi Sirisha,

At this juncture, I would like to advise you to go to the Doctor first. Even if you have checked his head, its better if the same is done by the Professional I mean DOCTOR only.

Secondly, it is better if you make him sleep down. I know if is very harsh way but whatever you do is for the good for ur child. I myself make my child sleep down - even if he is 3 1/2 yrs old.

You can accompany him down till he is fast asleep . Please do take him to doctor and do not hide anything from a Doctor - NEVER.

Dont worry please everything will be alright

Go to the doctor!!

I believe in precaution is better than cure! So, I think you will be better off consulting the doctor as the injury was in the head. My son has also fallen twice on the concrete driveway and hit his forehead. Though he started behaving normal instantly, I still took him to the doctor. Moreover, it is helpful to apply some ice wrapped in a towel or napkin on the injury site right away.
