Hi Patlivated and Sandhya
I feel so nice to hear both of ur words.I went for my regular checkup and my gynaec has asked me to wait till July end and from August I can start with simple exercises and walking.Yes I do know that I must think only of my baby and maintain a good nutrition but the thing is whenver I look myself at mirror I get the urge to start my weight loss schedule asap.But for my baby I think I should give it up as of now.
Hey Patlivated..I just want to share few things with you..Bfore I got married(4 yrs back)I was around 11 kgs overweight (68 kgs) and did few things to lose the extra kilos and went down to 57kg in 4 months
1)used to drink warm water+ honey first thing in the morning.
2)walk for 30 minutes compulsorily (since I was working and had no time to walk in the mornings..I used to get down few stoppings ahead of mine from bus and walk home)
3)5 days in a week I used to eat the sprouted moong dhal.
Let the moong dhal to sprout and then when the sprouts have grown considerably..
make bhel puri sort of preparation (lemon juice + onion + tomato + pepper) and eat a bowl full with only 1 roti.This is very filling.
If you include rice in ur diet, then boil these sprouted moong dhal a little and
give tadka in kadai and assume this as rice and eat along with the side dish or sambar.
Prepare soya bean flour and every time u knead flour for roti,mix wheat flour and
this soya bean flour in 1:1 proportion and prepare \" methi paratha\" or \" palak paratha\" .Since
soya bean flour has a different odour that makes it difficult to have them as plain
form it is better to prepare them with other green leaves as I mentioned above.
I followed these steps and recipes religiously for 4 months and I could see considerable weight loss (11- 12 kgs gone)...
After I reached my goal I came back to my normal diet but wenver I felt some weight gain I
used to do the same for a week or 2 and get back my proper weight. I coould maintain
my 57 kgs for 4 yrs.But after pregnancy Im now 80kgs (dont faint)....I hope I will be able to reduce some day or other with both of ur \" patlivation\" ..Im sorry for such a long and
boring mail..
