Please friends help me in recovering my son . My son is two and half years old and highly prone to catch infection cough and cold . Every alternate month or say every month he suffers from chest congestion . In july month he has shown no sign of improvement even after completion of two courses of antibiotics( zocef and Moxclav) and today also he was coughing in the morning and vomitted what ever he had .
I am feeling so miserable and unhappy and unable to concentrate on anything . His innocent face revolves around me when i am working or driving. My life is so devasted as i keep on fighting with everyone around due to his ill health. He is loosing so much weight and what ever he likes is denied to him like rice, curd . I am in tears and every second praying for his well being just like every other mother. Problem is i am obsessed with him and can not see him ill .I start behaving abnormally when he is not well . He was born after many many years of TTC and treatments so you can imagine my plight .Please suggest what should i do
Could you suggest best doctor in Delhi or around.

I am in the same boat. I have a 2 and half year old daughter. Its the same situation at home. She fell sick with chest infection and the congestion doesn' t seem to come down. 3 weeks back we had to admit her as she was down with Low-respiratory track infection. Being a working mom, always caught in a dilemma..not able to perform at work and feel bad to take off from work every other week as my daughter falls sick.
3 weeks after we returned from Hospital, today she is down with cough and fever and lands with throat infection. My doctors feels she might be allergic to something in the air. Even the weather contributes. Bombay, withs its pollution, humidity i think is not that healthy. Doc' s say, that some kids are prone for these infections much faster. The first 5 years of the kids life is very crucial..their immune system is learning to be tough. I think we have to go with it. The reason i narrated you my situation is to comfort you, that there is somebody in the same situation. We need to be a little patient. My Doc prescribed Zocef and she is off the course..but still this repeats. He has suggested Montek LC(for allergy)....lets see. USAMOM replied. To tell you the truth, you really need to get to a good Pediatrician, and explain the situation. Good luck, Everything will be okay....just tell the doctor all the symptoms and see what the doctor says...Do not worry trust me...:)
