Girls,

I just had my doc's appt. today and she took sample for Group B Strep test.
Also, she checked me internally and said baby's head is down, which is a very good indication of having a vaginal delivery. She said my cervix is about 90% effaced and not dilated yet. She will check me every week now so she can most likely predict what week I will have my baby.

She also advised me to walk, which I don't do anymore, feel lots of weight on my feet and pressure on my pelvis. But, I guess I will have to start walking now.

Your cervix is almost effaced, so your body is getting ready. That's wonderful news.

Do walk as advised by your doctor.

Hey Arshiya, 90% effaced is great.... soon the dilation will start too and not too long after that you will get to see your little one... thats great..

walking will surely help dilate your cervix, so do try and walk a bit if you able to do it without much pain..

good to know that everything else is going the way it should....
