Hi Viju
Not more than 3-4 petals/sticks of saffron for once. You can have saffron milk twice a week and definitely not more than that.
And yes have lots of buttermilk to get rid of the heat it produces. One more advantage of having the buttermilk is it helps in iron absorption.

hi i am rashmi.i am 25 weeks preg.i am taking saffron from 5th month.ppl say if we take saffron baby will be born with fair complexion.(though the baby will get back its natural color after1 month)
i am taking it once in a week, after oil bath(castor oil).heat the oil,let it cool down, then apply on your head, leave for 20 mins,u can apply on ur stomach also.then take a head bath, soapnut powder is preferable for this oil,.u have to wash ur hair with soapnut powder .before applying this oil take one big glass of milk without boiling, put saffron in it.(1 gm saffron has to be used 4 times).and drink this milk after taking head bath.the reason of applying this oil is castor makes body cool, and saffron is heat.so it will be balanced.i will start taking this milktwice a week from 7 th month.
i hope u have understood how to take saffron.if u have any doubt let me know,
take care
bye

My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
