Hi Girls,
Here is the information which I gathered about breast pumps.
1) Heard Manual pumps are not easy to use. Please prefer only electric pumps.
2) Don't buy the cheaper priced breast pumps. They will not be good.
3) On all, Medela and Avent are good brands. I see most of my friends going for Medela.
4) Renting from hospital also might as well cost you $40 - $60 per week. So it is better to buy one as we will be breast feeding the baby for min 6 months and also you can use the same pump for your next baby also.
5) As they are costly, it is better to order from net instead of buying from shop or hospital (u can avoid taxes). There are few types of medela breast pumps. As I will be back to work after two months, I am going for Pump in style breast pump. There are other types you can select whichever works best for you.
6) Checked in Burlington and other shops, Medela pump in style breast pump was costing to $275.
7) I ordered this pump from the below site. I got this for $ 209. Free shipping and no taxes. I received this within 4 days, and I checked everything seems to be fine.
