Dear friends
How are you all doing?
I' m having twin babies and they will be 3 in september. they are completing 2 years in two months and one of my babies is having one white hair..i' m very much worried a lot and pray god how can a small baby have a white hair...they are still breast feeding from me...i' m very much worried why it is like this..i' m worried alot that it may continue in all of his hairs...pl. friends help with this and any peds or doctors or anybody who can tell me a reason or help me get away from this heart pricking matter....i will be very thankful...i don' t know any reasons..may be it can be any vitamin deficiency or any food or liquid have fallen in his head to change the color...i don' t know...pl. help me eradicate it and also help not have this problem atall atleast for babies...

Dear Raji,

It just sounds like your baby has a random stray hair (normal) or a birth mark (also normal). Some children are born with a birthmark that comes through in hair. For example, I went to school with a boy who had a birthmark on his head. He had jet-black hair, but had a patch of white hair on the side of his head. There was nothing wrong with him. Also, there are some kids that are just born with a single or a couple of white hairs, it just happens and it doesn' t mean your baby is sick. As long as your baby is thriving (eating well, and growing, and learning everything on time), you really have nothing to worry about.
