Hi everyone...

Sid is 6 months old today..It was like a roller coaster ride..Some days were fun and some were so tiresome..There were days where he slept almost whole day n night and days where he kept me awake ..All in all, the First 3 months were very tiring and next 3 funfilled..

First month:- I never knew when he used to sleep, i used to feel i m feeding him all day long..His feed time wud be 90min..I managed to grab some sleep when he slept when my MIL cooked and hubby took care of the other household chores..Sid was born 5lb 9oz but at the end of the month he was 7lbs.Sid was always hungry and used to cry as soon as his diaper was wet..I remember changing abt 15-20diapers a day..uggi was his fav word and he smiled at my mil on the 17th day..He liked to stare at the lights
Second month:-Things got lil better, i was breastfeeding him and milk was sufficient.He started playing in his gym..He also sat in his chair with the help of head hugger.Weighed 9lbs at the end of month2..He used to wake up evry 2 hrs for feed and sometimes wud sleep for 3-4 hrs at a stretch..Gi and gay were his fav words
3rd month:- I started giving him formula for the nite once he completed 3 months..We moved to Frazer, PA from To..Sid started sleeping well and started socialising too..
4th month:-Lil fellow always wanted attention, he wud play only when mom n dad were around and preferred his mom over his dad..He wud try n try to roll over but in vain , instead he wud turn by 90deg..He started noticing he has fingers and started chewing them and liked them very much...rolled over from tummy to his back during tummy time..
5th month:-We started giving solids and Sid rolled over twice that month..He weighed almost 12.5lbs...he started smiling at everyone and playing more n more with his dad..Once we started solids, he started troubling at nite..He wud wake up almost every 2nd hr..but luckily it didnot last long...he makes sounds like amma and aaanu when he cried.He liked squash, fruits but hates peas and beans.Discovered his toes and put them in his mouth.
6th month:- he started rolling over well and moving around , stands up when held by his hand and hates lying down..Grabs and transfers toys from one hand to the othr..Has to get the taste of everything now..He started crying when dad leaves to office and wants to play with his dad all the time..I am feeling so J and insecure these days..hehehe !!Aaj kal bahe pehlatha hai ,taki hum use pakad le..chillana thoda kam ho gaya hai and he talks something in his own language and we repeat his words..

Sid as such is not a fussy baby and sleeps by 8:30 nowadyas and wkes up for 2 feeds at nite and wakes up at 6:45 am..So far, i have enjoyed most part of motherhood..

That was a very nice update of Sids....i think you should keep a copy of this in his scrap book...i will also write the same for megs...thanks for the idea.
Aur photos toh bahot bahot cute hain.....sids is such a cutie pie and so lovable...as vani said this li'l fellow is growing up so fast ...and he sure looks naughty:) (same as megha)

Was very happy to read about Sid's update and very very sute photos yaar... esp. the one in the title... \";now starring\"; I have a feeling they are all no more babies now.. In photos they look like a big boy... thought the same with Rishi too.

How did you make him sit on that horse???? Does he sit like that without support. Rishi will just fall forward!!! Loved to watch those photos and give Sid a nice kiss from me. He is totally cute.

Appreciated your mail on how u manage alone in the US... how you cook everyday. Amazing man, hats off to you.
