of late I am noticing a tuggin kind of pain in the area of my sutures...not always but sometimes...no partiular trigger. I was wondering how other C-section moms are doing.

Also I sometimes do heavy duty stuff lik vaccuming and mowing etc,apart from the regular chores and am feeling guilty that probably i overdid something...called my OBGYN, but since it has been almot 6 months they told me to check with my regular healhcare provider...
what do u girls feel? should I ignore it, or should it be consulted with a doc, or should I wait and see? I am not able to take a final decision...

I'm feeling numb at the suture site and all over the skin around it too!! I havent felt a 'sharp' pain, but a dull one kind-of..

You go slow please and listen to your doc...

Paddoo Tweetie replied. Thanks girls for ur suggestions...will definitly take it easy...no more heavy duty stuff...there had been days when I did mowing and vaccummina and taking care of Santhosh (well thats inescapable) the same day..so I guess it's time to slow down

Tweetie maurni replied. I totally agree with Komal, the minute you feel any discomfort, you should rest. I had to go to see my OB for my annual last month and he told me the same thing that Komal's doc told her, that the healing takes time and on average they say 6 months but everyone's body is different so only you would know when you feel that something is not right. When in doubt, get it checked out. HUGS!

I have the same feeling/pain as yours...i think the best thing is to take things easy whenever u feel the pain...i think we have to give the stitches time to heal (both internal and external) and everyone's body might heal in different time duration...so don't do much of heavy duty jobs for some time..i know one person who didn't do a single big task for one year since she didn't feel healed completely.

Anyway you can show it to the doctor once...my doctor told me to give it time.
