Hi!
My parents attended their visa interview at the Chennai consulate. They haven't yet recieved their passports, was wondering if anyone whose what is the minimum length they would generally grant? Kindly let me know.I know this question is offbase to this forum, but thought many would have applied and have experience.

Hi,
my mother got visa for 10years and the passport came by courier within 3-5days as they told. I think within 1week it should come because of weather it may delayed .
Good luck.

Hi Sonu
The minimum length which is granted is 6 months and the maximum is a 10 year visa. This is from the consulate and will be stamped on their passports.

When they arrive here, the US authorities will decide their duration of stay this time and stamp it on their visa. This could again be 3 months or 6 months. This determines how long they can stay for this particular holiday.

Hope this info helped.Good luck.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
