Hi Girls,

Just wanted to share this with you that I had a Wonderful baby shower at work last friday. It was not a surprise but they planned it really nice. They all gave me lots of gifts. It was a nice snacks party. They invited my husband too. It was fun and i really enjoyed it coz this is the only baby shower I got so far. I don't have the traditional one at home.

Wanted to share with you guys. I keep reading your messages but just not getting enough time to respond and start a new topic.
I am also not feeling since last weekend. having sore throat and a little fever also. I guess coz of changing whether in austin.

Avi,Vindhya,Arshiya all you guys are on leave now Right!!! Lucky guys. I am also planning to start working from home sometime in oct end.
I have my doc's appt tomm. My first internal exam. I am kind of scared coz it pains a lot. I hope I won't embarass my doc and myself by screaming at him.

When are you all going to have your first internal exam ? Do keep me updtaed on that.

Ruchika Simmi replied. Hi Ruchika. sorry to hear about ur cough and temprature. I too had cold and fever last week, took two days complete rest, did feel lousy though! Have lots of warm drinks and indulge in mum's cooking!
I am working too till the first week of Nov. Getting tiring with all the travelling to work and sitting at desk all day but countdown has begun so counting!
Shame I can't work from home, but hoping to get some rest after I start the leave so that I am not too tired for the labour. Hope for the best.
Don't worry about examination, the more u think about it, the more anxious you will get, and more the discomfort. Try to distract your mind and relax ur muscles, like Avi said it would be done withing minutes. All the best.

I am glad you had fun at your baby shower...that was nice of your collegues...
Since your parents are here, you guys can also have the traditional shower soon..

I've been off of work for a week now and yeah, its fun chatting with arshiya and Vindhya during the day.. I would be so lost without them...

I dont know when my internal check is going to be either... but I did have a couple of them already and there is nothing for you to worry about...just a bit of discomfort...ur doc will use her fingers and not that metal thingy to do the check so not a big deal..

That's very nice of your collegue to invite your husband also for the shower, I am sure you must have had a blast.
Ya, I am on leave now, and just waiting for the Dday. Actually, I am getting very anxious to know the sex of the baby now.
I don't know when I will have my first internal exam. Tomorrow I have doc's appt. but she didn't mention about anything last time. I will let you know if I have one tomorrow.

First of all, sorry to hear about your fever and sore throat. Yes, the weather is getting worse here too. Hope you feel better soon. Hope your appointment goes well today. I am not sure when I will have my internal exam, will keep you updated.

Glad to hear about your babyshower, that must have been lot of fun. That's really cool to have invited your hubby too. Hope you are done with your shopping now.

You have just a month to go, so you are almost there. Continue to take lots of rest. Is anyone coming to take care of you?

You won't believe, I am still working. It looks like I am working for Indiaparenting now. They are decreasing my work load, so getting lots of time to chat. Hope my boss doesn't see this message.

Don't worry about the internal exam, it's just a matter of a few minutes, then it will all be done. When you think about labor, all this is meagre :)
