hi archie
yesterday i had my sugar test done and my PP level after lunch was 157...i m going to complete my 36th week on 20th....i had also got ultrasound done which said the weight of my baby is 2.8kg at present....archie...will this sugar level pose any problem during delivery? can i still have a normal delivery? will my baby have diabetes when he/ she is born? my hubby has diabetes but there is no family history from my parents side of diabetes...will there be any problem with the bay this time?

dear ash,
Do not worry on gd.
it's not going to change your delivery option neither it would harm your baby. About baby being diabetic or not, I can say that your baby has 2 times chances than babies born from GD free gestation.

keep track of your glucose levels or control on diet.

baby weight looks good to me for the gesation, it's almost a 6 pound baby.

keep me updated with your internal check ups.
