My kid 2 yrs old has got very high fever 103-104 from past 8 days. have consulte paed. he had given crocin for 7 days. but yesterday he started with amoxilin. pls suggest some home remedy. have got all the blood tests done. nothing has been diagnosed. pls suggest/help Hetal. wht to do. any home remedy.

Besides that any Isotonic drinks (100 Plus) or similar drink

Dear Anu,

The things I post here are not to scare you, but I know it might. You see, I know fevers can mean many things. They can be harmless, or they cannot. We as parents have to pay attention to our children very closely when they have fevers.

The reason I' m so persistent about this is because my oldest son is very sick with neuroblastoma (cancer of the adrenal glands). It all started last August when he was having very high fevers on and off, but they wouldn' t go away. I would give him Tylenol and Motrin and they would go away, but they would come right back again. I took him to the Emergency Room so many times but his blood tests showed nothing. It got to the point where he didn' t want to eat anything or even drink that much. I felt like my house was a restaurant because I was making at least 5 different things just to get him to eat something. He was also looking very tired (dark circles under the eyes), and he didn' t want to walk. It took over a month to diagnose. It took a CT scan of the abdomen to find out what it was. With this disease, time is of the essence.

How did her fever go away? Does it go away and then come back, or is it gone for good? Also, how is her appetite? First answer these questions and I will tell you what you should do in this case. For now, just keep a very close eye on her.

Dear Anu,

This sounds like what I went through with my oldest son last August. Please post what other symptoms your child has (fatigue, loss of appetite, dark circles under the eyes, or a bump on the head or on the abdomen). Please respond immediately. Don' t just take, \" it' s just a virus\" as a final response from the pediatrician. Please respond immediately.

Dear Anu,

You must also pay attention to see if your child has difficulty walking or pain in the legs. If your child can talk, ask what they are feeling exactly. Ask them what hurts, if anything or if they feel constipated or if their stomach hurts.

just give ur kid 1 spoon honey mixed with tulsi leaves 1spoon three times a day for three it cures all kinds of fever and does wonders
