Hi All,
Saturday was a very scarey day for me. Since few days i was having small but sharp and frequent pain just below the belly, especially when i move, getup etc. So on saturday i went to gynac for checkup. She did the inernal checkup and told me that something is opened inside and she is suspecting these are labor pains. She is expecting a pre-mature baby delivery.
So i was admitted to the hospital. They gave me enima to check wheter really these are delivery pains or may be because of gases and all.
Almost after 5-6 hours the pains stopped and i felt relaxed. I got the discharge in the evening only.
But the gynac recommended me full bed-rest.
So far so good, i am starting with the 9th month from the 5th of Dec.
Wish you all a happy diwali.

Pallavi

Hi Pallavi,
glad to hear u r fine now. Try to take good rest as the doc advised. Remember if the baby stays till the 36weeks in the womb it'll be good for the baby. Try to listen some music and watch some cartoons it'll relax your baby too

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
