We have been to Baby care and Safety class and all these were discussed there and we were actually very scared after that. We will have to be so careful about bookcases, big flower vases and big sculptures around the house. I guess we will have to put all of these in one room and lock the room once baby starts moving.
Also, about crib safety, they told us not to even use Crib bumber pads till one year to avoid SIDS.

that is one skill, I hope, none of us will ever need to use.. but yes, it is a good skill to have..
I can understand your hubby not wanting to do it.. it's scary to watch some do it on adults, I cant even think about babies.. you guys did a good thing by learning it though..

Ya, they taught us CPR also in the same class. But, it's kinda scary to do it on the babies. My husband denies doing it, he says you are the one who is gonna do it if time comes.

Avi,

I am getting jittery thinking about all the safety concerns. Like they mentioned, it's good to ask the doctor on the baby's sleeping position.

Thanks for sharing,
Vindhya

Avi,

I totally agree with you, even I used to be a laid back person, but now I worry if she is small or she is big.

I guess, motherhood is welcoming us!

it sure is scary Vindhya, I was told that the first three months of the pregnancy are the hardest and after that is all smooth sailing... but for me, the first three months were easiest and then started the worries, pains...I expect the pains to go away in a month or so, but the worries I am sure will keep increasing..

Like right now, I worry if he moves too little and I worry if he moves too much...so no matter what he does, all I do is worry :) What's amazing is that I was such a chilled out person, never worrying about anything... but I guess pregnancy changes it all for us women...

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
