Hi,

My baby is 1 and half months old. As my breast milk is not sufficient doctor suggested me to use Lactogen 1 formula to feed my baby. But she is crying a lot while passing urine and also while passing stool. This may be due to digestion problem. Can anyone suggest me what can I do?

Dear Mrs.Radhika,
I had the same problem initial stage of feeding my child and luckily doctor prescribed a capsule named \" Lactare\" it will be dark pink in colour, take it 3 times a day and at the same house made medicine (Sava(Gujarati item name) looks alike Jeera, soak in water for the whole night and next day morning add some more water boil it alongwith small piece of jaggery and a drop of ghee.)You can ask a gujarati what is sava called in hindi & your native language.
You will definitely have your problem solved.

Too much of lactogen leeds to indigestion for child so better to avoid as it harden the infant stomach which leeds to blockage of stools in such case you can feed three drops of \" Colicaid\" three times a day.
Your milk is itself a pure medicine so you can feed as much as your milk can digest to the infant easily.

Now we have a problem our child is 2 n 1/2 month old her naval is popping out and doctor said its a simple problem and can be normal automatically in one year but for the infant its horrible as the air gets in and gases forms inside her stomach which makes her to cry for the whole night and sleepless night.

Please try to follow our suggestion for your problem by consulting elders of your famliy and for us do the same.
