I hope u r doing good...Actually y do u want to send the papers again?? i guess the papers r valid for 2 months right..infact i am also planning to reapply for my parents but we r not able to get appointments esp chennai is lagging behind donno wutz happening with chennai consulate..i am really sick of seeing all red dates...per day i am trying for more than 10 times with different timings but still no dates..very fraustrating...they do have dates for new applicants y not reapplicants...
Did they stamp anything on ur mil's passport
like application received like that?in my parents passport they didnot put anything on the passport r in I-134..the only stamping is in refusal letter...but still do we need to notify?pls help..i am so sorry to bother u when u r also in same dilema,but i have noone to ask to

Radhika replied. we are sending another application because 6 month period is raising too many ques so reducing duration to 4-5 weeks. so also edited the consulate letters too to prove ties back home for mil.
Appointments in bombay are done thru the pune visa app. center so we don't have to go online, they ask them before if the date suggested for interview was convienient so think pune center will take care of it.
I haven't asked if they stamped the application form, they did stamp passport becoz anyway we were going to change the duration.
We are just sending back statements too since the last we sent were july statements and this time i think she will definetly get a date in sept now. just extra care..
Heard an added letter from congressman/senator helps , am still enquiring if its poosible to get..will let u know if i do know how to go about it.
From our side, we will do our best and try again, if she gets rejected again, will apply in drop box because then FIL and MIL can use drop box ,we need to send a application letter for MIL requesting her visa approval. Even if they come in dec will help as long as they get to see their grandchild.
Did u try calling the visa app centers given online to ask for a interview date? check immigration.gov forum, saw lots of messages on setting interview date in chennai..
Try ur best..if possible u can make calls from here too. hope this gives all the info u need.
