hi everybody

we have been trying for kids since past one years.doctors say that we come under unexplained fertility.we are planning to go for IVF in india.i have few questions regarding this.

1)how much time it takes for treatment.do i need to stay in india for 4-5 months.

2) can anyone please suggest any good IVF clinics in Hyderabad.

3)is it possible to start my treatment as soon as i start my cycle(period)in india.or do i need to wait for one cycle with testing and then next cycle they will start my treatment with IVF.i completed all basic testing in US.

i will be very greatful if anyone could clear my doubts.

thanks a lot

I haven't heard about both of them. We have been to Dr. Rama's clinic and didn't had good experience there. 2nd one I mentioned was 'srusti' clinic (name sounds great right?) near sec-bad clock tower. Forgot the name of the Doctor.

Yes- you are right about insurance in US. But, if you count air fare, couple of months stay in hyd we felt that it was worth trying here. We enrolled in a programme which covers 3 fresh ivf cycles and few frozen transfers until we are successful. In the event of failure we would have got 90% money back. But, god is great!! He blessed us with a beautiful Baby Girl on the first cycle itself ( we had a failed cycle with another clinic though).

Anyway, choice is yours. Good luck again!!

what all clinics did you visited in hyd.i came through two fertility centres
1)anuradha fertility centre
2)kiran ivf centre.
if you know anything about this clinic can you please advice which one will be the best.

Hi Aarti-

I am assuming that you are in US. If so, why are you planning to get it done in India. Yes- it's cheap in India but, I like the sophistication and equipment and ease of treatment in US. We have visited two clinics in Hyd before decided to have it in US. Docs are good at both the places but, the crowd... it's unimaginable. In a way we felt that we were not alone after seeing that crowd. For eg. when we go for ultra sound test there would be 30 people in the queue and nurse would ask all 30 people to undress at the same time and she would finish the check up in 30 minutes. It's kind of routine for them. But, it looked odd for me after going from US. But, that's the way they can keep up with the crowd. Between both the clinics I felt the one in Secunderabad is really good. Forgot the name but, it's close to Secunderabad clock tower and quite opposite to Dr. Arun Jaiswal's (children specialist) clinic.

Best of Luck!!

Hi Aarti,

I am new to this site, was looking for a few days for INF clinics in India. I am from the UK and am a disatisfied with the IVF service there. I has just undergone IVF negative result.

In response to your questions, you need to get all the blood test done first, wiat for the result to come back, should not take long week maybe.

The process from the start of medication is 4-5 weeks. I shall try and look for a site that explains this in more detail as there is quite a lot to write.
I do not know any clinics in the area you specified. Why that area?
I have a friend from the UK who had IVf and she recommended 1 clinic in Madras and the other in Delhi or Mumbai.
After all the test i started my cycle on the first day of period. I went through clomid and IUI prior to IVF though.

Hope this helps, hope to hear form you soon now that i ahve booked marked this site.

x Nicole

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.

Hence we thought to go for donor sperm. But there is still... - SS [View Message]
