Hello All,
Thanks for your response and I little relieved to know that its common to get rashes in reaction to oil. Lot of you have mentioned Olive oil, Coconut and almond oil, are these specifically for babies? I have almond oil for myself , do u think I can use that for my son or need to get different one. If nothing works then I will try Daur lal tail, hope I ' ll get in Indian store.

My doctor suggested to use Aveeno products, but I don' t find Aveeno baby oil. Also my baby' s skin feel rough on touching, my doc suggested to apply Eucerin lotion, has anybody tried??

Iam using almond oil from Indian store. Its not having any scent.i think dabur lal tail is available at indian stores in US.i have not used it.The coconut iam using is an ayurveda preparation which has coconut oil turmeric etc. Then for hair i used coconut oil boiled with jeera.I felt almond oil makes the baby very calm. With my elder son i used mainly almond oil.

Advika didnt had any rash with any oil... I started using Oilatum as doctor prescribed me.... But from a month back I started using home made oil for her (Boiled oilive oil + neem leave + kacha haldi + some methi seeds and then drained) she didnt had any allergy... I heared Olive Oil is good for baby skin ... My doc suggested me not to use any product of johnson...

We get Seba Med product here which is really good specially soap and sampoo which i am using for advika ...

Rishon was allergic to all type of oils so started massaging him with desi ghee..I use to put almond in it for good frangnance..later when I came to India I tried Dabur Lal tail wch is quite ok with Rishon..I never use oil on his face & hair.As his facial skin is more sensitive to oil. While giving bath ensure all oil is removed ..never put oil on baby' s head at night.I use Oilatum soap which is really good for babies skin.
