Reyansh is now 4 mnths ,can we start the gripe water for babies.as docs never tell us to give our lil ones.previously doc tell us when to start these things. he is totally on breastfeed.
want 2 shift on formula milk ,suggest me the easier way to do that,really worried especially when i go out with or without him.Sometimes its impossible in the market area

Gripe water is not bad for babies. Actully it helps babies a lot. Its just ginger and fennel extract and helps babies with gas and fussiness. My son used to have gas in the beginning, so I called nurse practitioner one day in desparation. She suggested gripe water and mylecon drops. I bought baby bliss gripe water for my son and give it to him whenever I feel he is fussy and it really helps him.
Dimple ck replied. I just wanted to share my experience. I give woodwards gripe water got from India to my daughter right from birth, it is safe.

Have somebody else give the formula to the baby when he is not too hungry. You should not be present in the house at that time. Babies can smell you when you in the next room too. Try different formula/ready to feed to see what he likes.

Earlier days, there used to be some alcohol in the ingredient, but the ones they prepare now are \" non-alcholic\" and it is very safe to give to babies. My ped suggested it and it' s very good for tummy troubles and gas for babies. Here in the US, there are many brands selling gripe water, (even in CVS pharmacy), but you can also rely on our traditional Indian Woodwards Gripe water (which is by the way non alcohol). as for bottle intorudce it jst before bf then if he rejects offer breast and then slowly take it out and offer the bottle ..this iwll take time this is the way i introduced bottle but yes at a much younger age but it ws my expressed milk nt formula ..true its a big prob i am locked at home fr the nxt 2 mnths also as i m xcluisvly bf him and always xpressing nt possible i dodnot intend to gv him anyoutside food till he turns 6 mnths.. even doctor told me too dont give him gripe water frankly speaking that really gripe water didnt work for Rishon.I gave him in the begining of this month & since then he is passing stool after every feed(that' s what I feel)About Introducing bottles I think its too late to give him bottles as he is completly on BF he will definately throw tantrums in taking bottle.What you can do is tell ur hubby to feed with bottle then he may take.
