Rishon is suffering from stool infection.He is doing potty after every feed spoke to doc & she said its stool infection & gave me antibiotics Walamaycin.it' s5 days course & its 2 days since Rishon is suffering but even after giving medice I cant see any changes..how long time it takes for baby to come out of this infection.Also I am giving him ORS.I asked doctor the reason for this she said its common since now Rishon keeps his hands in his mouth all the time may be that can be the reason..but its not possible for us to clean their hand all day.I mean how to do that..I clean his hand with boiled water..most of the time..but when there is no access to water I clean it with baby wipes.Do you all have any home remedies for this..also would like to mention stool consistancy is not watery it' s semi solid also I could see mucuos yesterday but not today. I always try thing on myself first and then decide to use it on advika or not... you can imagine the taste of wipes... its medicative ... so try not using that....

Also request you if you can once again check with your doc about washing bottle with soapy water or not.. as last time you were saying its not good to wash bottle with soap water... As I use baby bottle washing liquied to wash bottle and doc also recommended that to me ... As bottle can cause baby stomach upset...

sudha reema replied. it is so heart wrenching to see them suffer spcly when they cant say anything yes i too have the same querry what ws the colour of the stool nd how many times did u get it examined ...again true u have to wait till the cource...
same here Ishaan always puts his fingers,wrist ..etc in his mouth ,,his papa says if his hands r glues or nt ..lolz...jokes apart what my doc has siad is nt to use baby wipes to wipe hands as they at times contain germicides which is nt good to b digested also as Ishaan is mobile i have to keep him on the ground now i have ensured 2 things no shoes b on the ground and i wipe the area clean whr i keep him and his toys every single day

Sorry that Rishon has diarrhea.whats the color of his stool ? is it green.was it of watery composition earlier.Usually when u give antibiotics it takes full course to complete to show affect.sometimes infection may be viral in which case antibiotics cant help.the infection goes away by itself according to course of illness.Was mucous there earlier ?
Abhi has green stools and there have been mucous number of times.I have informed doctor.Nowadays his spit up is just horrible.iam scared to even feed him,as he will spit a lot the minute i finish feeding him.
U call up doctor and tell him that not much change is there.Sometimes a stool culture can only tell what bacteria it is.All antibiotics r very specific according to bacteria meaning some antibiotics wont work for some bacteria.as a baby and as a child i have suffered a lot due to above reason.hope rishon gets better soon.
