Health Issues:any body knows about milk of magnesia?

hi,
my lil one is 10 months now & sometimes she gets trouble with her stomach, like some times she does not get her poop, or sometimes her stomach looks big becoz of that or she does not get smooth poop, she has to try hard for doing it. i give her plenty of water & juices in her diet but it does not work.some elder people in family told me to give her castor oil,but when i asked one pediatrician , he suggested me to give my daughter \" DEY' S MILK OF MAGNESIA\"
does anybody knows about it? or anybody can suggest me any other home remedy for my baby.
plzzzzzzzz help me & my baby.

it helps pass smooth bowels and relieves from constipation.

try offering prune juice, soaked raisin water and after 2-3days only try the milk of magnesia.

try these and it should help or else you will need to follow what your dr says..
he has already suggested the brand name of the milk of magnesia which is very comfort advice..liked your dr for it ! very few drs advice on brands.
