Dear hetal,
my son is 14.5months old 9.2 kg.his b w was 2.3 kg preterm by 40 days.he was doing good but past 3 months he is losing wt.all these days we ve been checking wt only on the physical pan that doctor has which is always showing some increase in his wt and he was also gaining wt till nov 06 .but he be came very thin,no chubbiness i suspected that he is losing wt.so we got an electronic balance at home which shows accurate wt.we found he has lost wt from 9.6 kg in december,gradually it came to 9.1 in feb 07.but whenever we visit dr he checks wt,finds increasing atleast 100gm than the prev visit.this is the m/c we check wt right from birth.now this elect m/c shows wt atleast 500-600gm less than the physical pan.i even checked the other electronic ones.he is losing wt.but dr adviced me not to be so accurate,wts might vary depending on m/c.i m not worried about this wt loss,he is very active.but how about his milestones?HE HATES MILK.for him sippy is only for water,not a single drop of other fluid.he takes solid 5 times a day,in 3 hrs interval,fussy eater.which m/c should i rely on?but looking at him externally,while i lift him i feel he has lost wt,still continuing to lose.i am concerned that this should nt continue to affect his milestone.im following ur diet chart that u ve suggsted other members,u & the forum are the sources always i rush for help.pls clarify me on this.
