1. vaporizer or humidifier in the room where he sleeps.
2. warm cloth(warm enough tht he can bear,test on your cheeks first) to be kept on his chest to loosen the phlegm.
3. indian sweet basil water 1tsp 3 times a day also helps releasng the phlegm.
4. if on solids, offer papaya puree,,helps to release mucus thru poop/bowels.
5. applying 1 drop of eucalyptus oil on his bedding will help him breathe easily.
6. if you can get pure essential oil, try getting pure sweet basil oil..its excellent in releasing mucus out of the nose and releasing it,,it safe for babies from 3months and onwards..use a trusted brand or ask your ayurvedic dr for a good brand to ensure its purity,,,put it in diffuser and works wonder !

check the whole foods, you might get the pure essential oil in their spa section, ask for sweet basil oil from india !
or check on 1800 essential oil website.
you will get the diffuser in whole foods or ne international market where the spa stuffs are sold.

put it in diffuser or put a drop on your clothes while holding your baby or in his bedding..1 drop goes a long way !!!

if you are interestd in sweet basil oil only(the best for thining out mucus and congestion only)
look for sweet basil and check on the bottle origin " india" and no other country.also check that the bottle colour should be of dark colour and shouldnt have the spray,,and it should have the dropper..as effective of oils are lost in light or transperant colour glass bottles !

reg papaya puree, its just ripe papaya....check for ne heat rashes if your baby is sensitive to heat(for papaya n peaches or ne usage of oils)..also offer ripe peaces,,great for cold or thining mucus.
