hope ur doin good.
about the stuff u can eat outside...i personallly
dont find much choices.so whenever im goin out i carry snacks frm home like baby carrots, crackers, jelly cups, flavored yogurt, home fried peanuts, almonds, walnuts, etc.these items r easily available n r not high in carbs.so whenever on the way i feel hungry i eat them.

while making my selection for snacks i try goin for items real low in carbs n fats but large in quantity so i feel full.

and yes even i agree with u on this that changing the meal times affect our readings.so i try eating almost at the same time.but when guests r there or we get delayed in comin home then i dont ve much choice n then the readin gets affected.

one more thng...try not eating out.it really shoots up the readin.try managing with home cooked meals.

hope this helps.do lemme know if u need more details.

take care

dee

Hi dee,
thanks for immedeiate reply. I'm trying to avoid outside food as much as possible. Today again I'm upset because the reading went up to 160 after dinner.
Today I ate lunch chapathi+dal+veg+egg+fruit and the reading came 135mg/dl.
Dinner ---- chapathi+veg+fish+buttermilk+fruit and the reading came 160mg/dl.
is there anything wrong in dinner menu
fish after long time I ate and buttermilk I think its ok
One reason I know is if I'm tired the reading going up. Is that happening to you also?
thanks
susmitha

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
