I' m in my 18th week and my gyno did full medical test:-
Glucose Challenge Test (GCT)
Urine Routine (Alb+Sug+Micro)

My Urine test shows infection : Mucus thread (few) fungal hyphae and yeast cells noted. The doctor prescribed Zinnat Tables for 3 days.

Anybody here had the same problem?

Hi Malini

Im in my 18th wk too. Last wk I went into hospital with lower abdo pain, located on the lower right side. The nurse had asked my to give a urine sample ' mid-stream' , as the first part contains protein, so this wouldn' t give a clear result. Im just wondering why you went for a full medical and was your sample midstream?

Luckily my urine sample came back clear and my bloods showed no sign of an infection. Apart from a slightly lower than average BP, i was medivally fine. For 5 days after i have been ok, but yesterday the pain started up again. Ive come to the conclusion that it could just be the baby pressing on something.

I hope that you feel better soon and i wish you well for a healthy pregnancy and birth!

horlicks with milk

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
