hello,

Note: already posted this in October2003 forum.

i'm planning to bring my mom in September. Y'day when we were trying to book an appt with the Chennai consulate, there were only 6 or 7 slots available(slots meaning dates), that too end of August.

what iam plannning to do is, book appt, block round-trip ticket & then send the necessary papers, that is it.

All Non-immigrant visa will be interviewed, that is the new rule. But for exceptions (age 60 and above) check the madras-consulate website below)
