Dear ALL
Hope everyone is well i have some queries Dylan is now eating rice cereal once in the day in the mornings he is 4months and a week old just wondering if others have started solids i did rtesearch and i read the longer you wait the better...i am thinking of introducing veg and fruit stage 1 after 5 months for now staying with rice cereal and the oat and barley last and then just switch to mixed grain.
Dylan has very dry skin and dr has said that he may have mild eczema where the fols of his arms and legs are a lil red has anyone else now 2-3 times and giving sponge bath in btwn also back of dylans head has become a lil flat so dr has said to lay him on tummy

I haven't started solids for Arjun but I started feeling that now the time has come to start. Lets see how long I can wait. I still have to get a high chair, feeding bowls and spoons for him.
What type of rice cereal are you giving to Dylan, the usual one or the organic one? Which one is best if you know?
For dry skin, not sure if you have humidier at home considering its winter and heater could be on all the time. BTW, did you try oil massage? It helps with rashes and red skin I heard.
Arjun has a very itchy sclap and lost too many hair because of that. Last week I saw some redness kind of cradle cap. i did oil massage on his scalp and reduced the use of shampoo and it has already started to subside.
If you are not taking out Dylan too frequntly then stop using soap for couple of days and see if that helps

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
