I thought I had GD in my first blood test, but my 3 hour test confirmed that I didn't have GD, but during the period I checked with a nutrionist and several websites and here are my recommendations, but consult your doctor before starting this:-

Fruits :- I reduced to eat just 3 fruits a day, instead of 5

Breakfast :- Skim milk,Plain oatmeal

Lunch :- Salad (I all greens, zucchini, carrot, tomato) - I used to use olive oil as a dressing

Nuts in the evening with plain yoghurt

Bagels and lite cheese ( when hungry)

Roti, some green sabji and cucumber with some daal for dinner

Any fruit with skim milk (mixed with almonds and cashews) at night .

Most of them have less sugar in it .

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
