Hey good to know that rishon started rolling...in Reyansh' s case he rolls over once a while that too not sure if by own or by accident :) but he does moves 360 degrees all over in his crib while he is asleep..at every night feeding we find him in different direction... just make sure that there are no soft toys or pillows around him.

Hi Poonam..

DOn' t worry Aayan is rolling over for last two months.. Since last months he roll over while sleeping and then turn back to straight position..

It is very normal as babies are growing ..so it is individual development..

Enjoy the time..

Hi Poonam,

I feel you sould not worry to much about Rishon turning on tummy. There is no much problem for asian babies and if the weather is not too cold. In general you can make sure that there are no pillows around Rishon. Usually I make sure that my son, Nihar is breathing properly and there are no obstacles around him.
Nihar had reflux problem because of which we started putting him to sleep on his tummy (after checking with the doc). After sleeping he himself adjusts his position so that his nose is not pressed against the bed. He changes his head postition many a times while sleeping. But he knows how to sleep on his tummy and adjusts his head accordingly.

hii archana...
dont worry kids have their ontime for everything...& every child is unique..still if you are worried put karthik on hard mattress(not very hard it should be little soft)when he turns on his sides give him little support to rollover...but frankly speaking dont force him to do..let him take his own time...dimple about swaddling Rishon hates it now..he creats havoc if I swaddle him tight...so i just wrap him with receiving blanket but just after 5-10 minutes he removes his one hand then other..he hates anything on his legs...not even cloth ..he just kick it off anything wch is near to his legs..but that´ s funny...

Hi,
Its so nice to see babies growing so fast:).Sai has been rolling over to sides since last month. he does not rollover on his tummy. I have stopped swaddling him...he likes to be free....Sometime I put him to sleep on his tummy during the day...he uses his hands and pillow and goes to sleep...I watch him during this time...
Love
Dimple

Happy that Rishon has started rollover.Abhi is offcially yet to roll over.He has done it couple of times from back to tummy when lying down next to me and once while on futon(sofa). So iam myself concerned he may rollover like.He hates to be on tummy so usually he never tries to roll over unless he sees me lying down little far from him.I think keeping pillows on both sides may help.Even Abhi has been lying down on his sides. My aunt who is a pediatrician said thats a good pose as it reduces spit up but abhis pediatrician says baby should roll over
