hi, i am 31 weeks pregnant and my due date was 26th dec. however this time when i went to visit my doc she told me that i might deliver 15 days prior. that would be 11th dec. Firstly what does this mean, will i have a premature baby and secondly i plan to have my child in ludhiana and am presently in delhi. I had planned to travel to ludhiana in mid of nov say around 20th coz I have some important submissions. Can u please tell me how many days prior to my delivery should I leave for Ludhiana. actually i wanna go as late as possible coz of my work. but I don't understand what babsis she said that you will be 2 weeks ahead. Did you have any internal examinations or any ultrasound.
If there was an ultrasound then prediction is good otherwise it could not be so perfect and you may not have to count on that.
archie Sonu replied. I think 15 days earlier is not considered a premature baby. Babies in the term from 36 to 40th weeks are not premature. Anything before 36weeks is premature(correct me if I am wrong).


How are you planning to travel. Generally my doc advised me to aviod any travel after 28 weeks becoz of the risks of having a premature. But I am sure it will also depend on the distance and means of commute. I am not too sure becoz of these two factors wht to tell you.
