Single Parenting:facing things alone

I split with my partner because of many reasons
and now have to have our baby alone. Are there
any support groups around for people in my
position? My family is very supportive and are sorry
for me. He wanted me not to have the baby. That was
very hurtful.

Its not really a support group, but I knwo what you need. there is a website singlemotherresources dot com it has lots of info for single mom's like us. you will love it. Everything will be fine, besides Men need us more than we need them. always remember that!!

Hello. Our situation is not similar but I am a female living in USA with bad inlaw problems who likes to make friends and give advice. You were asking for support groups, but if you live in the US maybe we can be more than that as in real friends or phone friends? If you are interested please respond with your email adress and I will write you.

Thats so messed up though that the guy did not want you to have the child. I am glad you are having the child. And you are lucky your family is supporting you too.
