Hope all little ones are doing gr8..I have read in books & on net that baby stop taking mid night feed once they turn 3 or3.5 months but Rishon Still wakes up..though he doesnt take much milk but he wakes up.First i thought since he has got habbit of waking up at night he wakes up but he drinks little milk say 2oz or so?your babies too get up..or they sleep whole night?Do they take feed at mid night or early morning .. Dimple replied. Sai has started sleeping less during the daytime...he takes 4-5 naps of only 30-45 mins duration and wants to play rest of the time. He goes to sleep by 9-10 and does not want to wake up at nite until 5 in the morning....I wake up at least once before that and feed him in his sleep... then I feed him at 5 and after that he is on bottle feed(breast mil) until evening.... I think babies will stop waking up at nite when we start them on solids during the day( may be 5- 6 months)...

Hope you are doing great.. In case of advika if I dont wake her up in the night she will not get up till morning 9 oçlock. In that case I cant wait for her to get up and demand food. I think specially when she is in sleep she take better feed than she is awake ... very naughty.

When I came from hospital I was not aware and I use to give her feed at 10.30- 11 and then straight in the morning 6 - 7 when I told this to doc she asked me to wake her atleast within 4 hours also said after 3 months you can do this ..

AS advika take proper feed in night time only so will try to feed her atleast once in the middle of night atleast upto 6 month... then will try to skip that...

Her birth weight was 3.5 kg and now bye 3rd month i.e, 19th aug she is 5.32 on monthly base she is gained 300 t0 400 grms. She is fully on bottle milk. I give her Simalac advance.

As per doc her weight is ok not to worry .. but I am always worried with her feeding. I heared 3 months baby should have 4 oz of milk ... anyway she use to take 4 oz every 3 -4 hours suddenly he came down to 2 max to max 3 oz...

Thanks a lot for sharing all ideas will try to follow and see if this can help me.

I think that' s normal...even Rishon gets up early morning for feed..I was thinking they dont get up before8-12hrs...but all kids are same..:) Sabitha Jayashankar replied. Abhi usually feeds last at 11 pm and then he wakes up at 5.30 in morning if the previous day he did not sleep at all or slept for just 2 hours.if the during day time he took longer naps then at night he will wake around 3 am.
I think by around 6 months most babies sleep through the night.But dont eveer wake ur baby for a feeding if he has reasonably gained weight.Thats what my doctor was telling.She said after 12 pounds babies can hold milk for longer time in tummy. As for Aadi, he doesn' t wake up at night. I only wake up, put him to breast and he drinks as much he wants in his sleep only. So it' s mostly 15 min break from sleep for me. :-) Then he drinks only when he gets up at around 8 in the morning. meenakshi replied. In case of Reyansh ,he still wakes twice in between 12am to 7 am.i give him formula at the last feeding before sleeping as i heard that it will stay longer in his tummy ,but still reyansh wakes every 3-3.5 hours for feed mostly once around 3 am and second 6 am depending on what time he was last fed.just hoping that he sleeps thru night...as i also read that around 3 and 3.5 months most of the babies sleep thru night vini replied. ruhaan gets up hardly after 4 mnths he just drinks little milk( no idea how much as i m still brestfeeding)
i give him formula mostly in day time .While he is playing he doest drink milk properly so i give him formula 2-3 times in a day archana replied. Howis Rishon dng ,karthik also wakes up sometimes during mid night for feeding or he weaks up early morning he dnt follow timings i tried to keep him on track but i failed do rishon follow specific timings for feeding how to keep them in track.
