Vindhya replied. Hi Alka,
Glad to see your message, sorry to hear about your bed rest. You are almost there, you are the first one to go from our group based on due dates. Hope to hear the good news in three weeks.
Regarding dried nuts, I was having them like crazy during my second trimester, now I've limited myself to 2 tbsps of pumpkin seeds, thats all.
As for ghee, I just love it. For some reason, I've been unable to digest it lately. So, have totally stopped taking it. Regarding it being considered good during pregnancy, I think it is just a myth. It has a very high saturated fat content, I don't think it's good for you.
Regarding expert comments, take whatever is good/applicable. Rest, just ignore them.

Avi replied. Hey Alka, so good to hear from you... you are due on the 1st of Nov (if I am not mistaken) so less than 30 days left for you... I am sure you are very excited..
I hope everything is alright with you (sorry to hear about he bed rest).. and yes, you will soon have the little one in your arms...
and yes, like Simmi said, its nice to get all the attention from everyone but can be overwhelming too...
I aint a ghee kinda person either, so haven't tried it.. but others here have sure mentioned it.. and dry fruits are great, but I am not a big fan of them either...except for raisins in my cereal, I dont have too much of them..
well, hope to hear updates from you as your due date approaches... Get lots of rest and keep us updated..

Simmi replied. Hi Alka. Lovely to hear that you have excited family and neighbors giving tips. It can be a pain but it is fun too, all the attention and experience!
Well, have been eating dry fruits but the thing about ghee helping labour, not very confinced. Plus not a ghee oriented person, so finding it tough to include in my diet. Hope for the best.
Good luck.

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.
