Name: Vindhya Hi All,

I just came back from my appointment and I am measuring only 30 weeks as opposed to 32. Also, they found some white blood cells in the urine. It would take two more days to determine if I have an infection or not.

Regarding fundal height, the doctor said not to worry as they do see a progress from my previous appointment four weeks ago when it was measuring 28 1/2. I have an appointment next week and they will order an U/S incase it remains 30.

That's my not-so-good update.

The good news is that the baby is in the heads-down position.

hey vindhya

sorry to heard that ur baby is small. at the time of my first baby same problem. Please take more rest and do not take any tension( u must hv a some ). forget any tension. u know what happen is going to happen any way, right? so be relex and give best to your baby as u can

All the best and do eat lots of food and drink lots of sweet fruit juice.. helps a lot with waking up the baby...

dont worry

Vindhya, dont worry..(I know its easier said than done).
my fundal height was less than what it was supposed to be...my doc also asked me to come back in two weeks so she can check it again and see if it has progressed.. I've been pigging out ever since hoping that it would help in some way....she told me that + or - 2 cms is not something to worry about too much

my philosophy about is, All we can do is do our best and leave the rest to fate... and worrying will do nothing to make it any better..

White blood cells could sometimes mean that you have a UT infection but not always...my fingers are crossed that it is nothing...

I am glad that the baby is head down and getting ready to come out..

so keep the faith and everything will be just fine...

I hope my next appointment goes well. Regarding infection, I am hoping it comes back negative too.

I am just trying to be positive, just so I am not too nervous for tomorrow's appointment.
