Hi,

I saw a message on October board about pillows for infants and thought this info about SIDS might be of use to all. During one of our anti natal session we were told to keep the crib etc. free of quilts, doonas, cot bumpers, pillows...basically all those attractive things we find placed in cots in showrooms..as they are just not good from SIDS point of view and not reqd. by babies for any sought of additional comfort.

You are right Ritu, I was reading info about SIDS too a while ago and found it to be similar to what you mentioned (about pillows and other accessories).. I read that pillows aren't recommened (atleast here in the US.

I will surely check out the links you posted.. Thanks a lot... :)
